Tasty Meatballs and Spaghetti
Ingredients for the Meatballs:
1 Large Egg
1-1/2 lbs of Ground Chuck Beef
1/2 cup of Yellow Onion diced
1 teaspoon of Chopped Garlic
1/4 teaspoon of Paprika
1/4 teaspoon of Thyme
1/2 teaspoon of Basil flakes
1/2 teaspoon of Parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon of Black Pepper
2 teaspoon Yellow Mustard
1 teaspoons of Ketchup
1-2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
Other Ingredients needed:
1 large can or jar of Spaghetti Sauce
1 box of Spaghetti Noodles
1 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 teaspoons of Kosher Salt
French Bread or Rolls
First off, pre-heat oven for your baked bread. I use the canned bread sometimes and it takes 25 minutes to bake, so get the bread in oven while you are cooking all the other ingredients.
Directions for Tasty Meatballs:
In a large bowl, add the Ground Chuck and all the ingredients for the Meatballs listed above. Mix the meat and spices well with hands, set bowl to the side.
In a sauce pan, on medium low heat add your Spaghetti Sauce, and let it start to warm up, stir often so it doesn’t scorch on bottom of pan. In a large Pot, on medium high heat, fill 1/2 the pot with Water, 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil and 1 teaspoons of Kosher Salt. When the water and oil and salt begin to boil, then add your noodles, Stir often, keeping your noodles from sticking and clumping together.
Now, back to those Tasty Meatballs: Get a large platter and start forming the meat into balls by rolling 1 Tablespoons of meat. Place on plate ready to fry.
Wash your hands good after handling the raw meat. Next, in a large skillet, on medium heat, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil, after oil is melted and the pan is hot, start placing each meatball neatly in your pan. Fry each meatball, browning the sides of the meatballs good.
After, meatballs are browned and cooked good, place them on folded paper towels to soak up any of the excess oil. Now, add the cooked meatballs (slowly so you won’t splatter) to your Spaghetti Sauce, careful handling the meatballs,
continue to cook sauce and meatballs on a simmer, cover with a lid.
Continue, to stir noodles keeping them from sticking, after 1o-12 minutes of boiling, drain noodles in a strainer and rinse with cold water. Set the noodles in the strainer in the pot leaving just a bit of water in the bottom of pot, back to the warm burner. (Turn heat off ) To keep the noodles warm.
Servings about 4-6.
